In music, Mike Moran is the British songwriter and record producer who, along with Lynsey de Paul co-wrote the song Rock Bottom which, performed by de Paul, came second in the 1977 Eurovision Song Contest, and who also co-wrote No Mean City, the original theme song for  to the Scottish television crime drama Taggart.
