A former boxer who fought under the name of ‘Irish Jack O’Halloran’ Jack O’Halloran, born in 1943, is the American actor who as a heavyweight boxer from 1966 until his retirement from the ring in 1974, went undefeated through his first sixteen professional fights.
Moving from the boxing ring to the stage, his first film role was as Moose Malloy in the 1975 Farewell, My Lovely, starring Robert Mitchum, while his most famous roles are as the super-villain Non in the 1978 Superman and the 1980 Superman 11.
